Un sincero e caloroso ringraziamento al sig. Carlo e al suo staff. Arrivati alle 20.30, ci hanno fatto ormeggiare per la notte nelle vicinanze, offerto una bottiglia di vino, consigliato e prenotato il ristorante. La mattina dopo ci ha deliziato con un vassoio di brioches fresche di pasticceria. Gasolio di ottima qualità e prezzo corretto. In definitiva, una sosta vincente che consiglio caldamente !! A very big thank you to Carlo and his son Marco for great service at the Crotone fuel dock. Their attention and care for our boat was second to none, and our second visit to the dock in this last couple of months felt like a visit to old friends. We already look forward to passing by again. Our first and prior visit to purchase fuel at CARMAR was two years ago on our way to explore the eastern Mediterranean. Our motor yacht, unlike the yachts pictured in the photo gallery, is a fraction of the size that Carlo regularly services. However, we were greeted with equal care and concern regarding our needs. Recently returning, for what was now a much anticipated visit to see Carlo and his son Marco as well as purchase fuel, was a reunion that erased the years. Their amazing genuine hospitality made us feel as though we had come home to see family and friends. This is the most extraordinary fuel station in the entire Mediterranean...or anywhere else for that matter!

Esse lugar è exelente, tivemos a sorte de conhecer o senhor Carlos uma pessoa agradabilissima, não tenho palavras para agradecer tanta hosptalidade, vc tem exelente wifi, bicicleta, son de qualidade super recomendo

L'ospitalità regna sovrana da Carlo and familiari e la generosità con essa!!! Venire da voi è stato come tornare a casa dalla famiglia dopo un lungo viaggio lontani. Carlo Tricoli, the Managing Director and owner of CARMAR is fantastic! In need of fuel, en route to Greece, we telephoned Carlo who assured us in perfect English, "call any time, I will meet you at the fuel dock". After two very long and difficult days of travel from Siracusa to Crotone, we arrived at a beautiful and clean fuel dock, equipped with a high speed pump and Carlo, true to his word, ready to help us. He provided the most considerate experience we have had in our more than 12 months cruising in the Mediterranean. As one captain said, "He is famous!" And we can thoroughly understand why, the fueling is more than a business for Mr. Tricoli, it is a venue to connect meaningfully with people.
